Brisbane Touch Football was well represented at the National Touch League tournament held in Coffs Harbour from 11-14 March with players from across the Region representing across 13 divisions.
The strength of Brisbane Touch continues to grow, with 9 of our 13 teams finishing in the top half of their divisions. Of these, 8 teams progressed to Semi Finals, and 3 of these on to the Grand Final.
The Cobras Women’s 30s team were victorious in a decisive 3-0 win over Scorpions, taking the Championship for the 4th time. Rachael Day was named Player of the Final. Our Women’s 45s went down fighting in their Grand Final.
The inclusion of the Indomie Noodles All Abilities division created a lot of excitement around this year’s NTL, with the Cobras All Abilities team finishing 2nd to Sydney Scorpions Green in a hard fought Grand Final.
Congratulations to everyone who represented Cobras this year! Brisbane City Touch Association would like to extend special thanks to our volunteers, coaches, managers, physios, and supporters for their time, efforts and services prior to and during the 2020 NTL Tournament.
